To make an urgent appointment please ring 01325 380 640 from 8am Monday to Friday. Ring after 10am when lines are less busy for a routine appointment. Routine and emergency appointments are available from 8.30 and the last appointment is 17.30. We would like to thank patients for making their visit to the GP as efficient as possible, to prevent late running surgeries. If you need to discuss more than one issue please request a double appointment.
We hold a Saturday morning surgery for patients who are unable to attend during the week due to work commitments and appointments are available with the nurse every Tuesday morning – these are available from 7:30am. We also have GP appointments from 7.30am on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and late evening on a Wednesday. For more information please call reception.
Evening and weekend clinics
Need to see a GP outside normal surgery hours? There are appointments available on weekends and evenings for all Darlington patients. The receptionist at Blacketts can make an appointment for you to see a Primary Healthcare Darlington GP in one of the following clinics held at Dr Piper House: Saturday 8am-2pm, Sunday 9am-1pm, Mon-Thur 6.30pm-9pm and Friday 6.30pm – 8.30pm.
Avoid the queues. Book your appointment on line. To access SystmOnline you will need a log in ID and password. Please contact the receptionist who will issue you with the required log in and your own personal password. Once obtained, you will be able to gain access via this link.
This facility is only for patients who are too ill or infirm to visit the Practice. Requests for visits are put through to the triaging clinician, who will decide the best course of action. As there are good disabled parking facilities and we can provide wheelchairs on request, we would prefer patients to visit the Practice if at all possible so that they have access to all our equipment and facilities, ensuring the best medical care.
