Appointments

A consultation with a doctor, nurse or health care assistant are all by appointment. Routine clinic appointments can be booked in advance. Our system allows patients to see a health professional within an appropriate time frame. Appointments for routine clinics can be booked in advance.

Appointments can be made by:

• Online – Avoid the queues and book your appointment on line.
• In person – pop into the surgery on Bondgate, Darlington and speak to a Patient Care Advisor.
• Telephone – Please call 01325 380 640 from 8am Monday to Friday. Ring after 10am when lines are less busy for a routine appointment.

Routine and emergency appointments are available from 8.30 and the last appointment is 17.30

Consultations are of variable lengths depending on need but each person requires an individual appointment to avoid delays to others. If you need to discuss more than one medical issue please inform our reception staff so that they can book an appointment of the appropriate length or double appointment, this will help to ensure that other patients are not delayed due to appointments overrunning.

If you cannot attend, please cancel your appointment as soon as possible so that we can offer it to someone else.

Please note that when a clinician calls a patient to their room the patient’s name will be displayed on the display screens inside the surgery.
